Service Description

HR - Heavy Rigid Truck Licence - Auto  An HR (Heavy Rigid) Truck Licence grants you the authority to drive trucks or buses, including prime movers and mobile cranes, that have a GVM (Gross Vehicle Mass) exceeding 8 tonnes and feature 3 or more axles, or articulated buses (those that can bend in the middle). Additionally, with this licence, you may tow a trailer with a maximum weight of up to 9 tonnes GVM. Eligibility Requirements: Licence Tenure:  You must have held a car licence for at least 24 months. Heavy Vehicle Theory Test: Complete the Heavy Vehicle theory test in person with QLD Transport. Learning to Drive a Higher Class: When learning to drive or ride in a higher licence class, you must: Alcohol Limit: Obey a zero alcohol limit. Drug Use: Not be under the influence of illegal or prescription drugs. Licence Conditions: Obey any conditions stated on your licence.
