Want to get your truck licence in Brisbane without spending days sitting in a classroom or taking unnecessary time off work?

At Dynamic Truck School, we offer practical, straightforward heavy vehicle driver training for people looking to obtain or upgrade their LR, MR, HR or HC truck licence in Brisbane, Queensland.

Whether you're getting your first truck licence, upgrading from a car licence to HR, or stepping up from MR or HR to HC, our training packages are designed to suit your experience, confidence and driving ability.

And yes, depending on your eligibility and experience, you really can get your truck licence in just one day!

CAN YOU REALLY GET YOUR TRUCK LICENCE IN ONE DAY?

Absolutely!

For eligible drivers who already have some experience behind the wheel of a heavy vehicle, getting your truck licence doesn't necessarily mean spending multiple days training.

Dynamic Truck School offers shorter training and assessment packages for drivers who already have some practical experience and feel comfortable operating larger vehicles.

Our popular options include:

3-Hour HR Licence Package: An option for experienced drivers looking to obtain their HR licence in one day.
4-Hour HC Licence Package: Designed for eligible drivers with previous heavy vehicle experience who want to upgrade to HC in one day.
5-Hour Training Packages: A great option for newer drivers who want additional time to practise and build confidence.

Training and assessment are completed in accordance with Queensland licensing requirements. Same-day licensing depends on eligibility, competency and successfully completing the required assessment.

LR, MR, HR & HC TRUCK LICENCE TRAINING IN BRISBANE

LR LICENCE | LIGHT RIGID

Looking to drive a light rigid truck, small bus or other eligible light rigid vehicle?

An LR licence can open the door to a range of driving opportunities, particularly in delivery, passenger transport and smaller commercial vehicles.

Dynamic Truck School can help eligible drivers work towards their LR licence with practical training suited to their experience.

MR LICENCE | MEDIUM RIGID

An MR licence allows you to drive medium rigid vehicles, making it a popular choice for people entering the transport, delivery and logistics industries.

Whether you're looking to expand your employment opportunities or need an MR licence for work, our training focuses on developing the practical skills and confidence required to operate a medium rigid truck safely.

HR LICENCE | HEAVY RIGID

Want to get your HR licence in Brisbane in just three hours?

Our 3-hour HR training and assessment package is designed for eligible drivers who already have some experience operating larger vehicles.

For drivers who are completely new to heavy vehicles, our longer training packages provide additional time behind the wheel.

An HR licence is a popular choice for people looking to work in:

Heavy rigid truck driving
Local transport and deliveries
Civil construction
Waste management
Truck and dog operations, subject to vehicle configuration and licensing requirements
General transport and logistics

In Queensland, you can generally apply for an HR licence after holding a car licence for at least two years, subject to the applicable eligibility requirements.

HC LICENCE | HEAVY COMBINATION

Already hold an MR or HR licence and want to upgrade to HC?

Our 4-hour HC licence training and assessment package gives eligible, experienced drivers the opportunity to complete their HC licence upgrade in a single day.

HC licensing opens the door to driving heavy combination vehicles, including eligible prime mover and semitrailer combinations.

For those who want additional training before their assessment, longer packages are also available.

In Queensland, you generally need to have held an MR or HR licence for at least 12 months before upgrading to HC.

3-HOUR, 4-HOUR OR 5-HOUR TRUCK LICENCE PACKAGE: WHICH SHOULD YOU CHOOSE?

Choosing the right training package comes down to your previous driving experience.

3-HOUR HR LICENCE PACKAGE

Best suited to eligible drivers who already have some heavy vehicle driving experience and feel confident with the fundamentals.

4-HOUR HC LICENCE PACKAGE

Designed for eligible MR or HR licence holders with relevant driving experience who are ready to work towards their HC upgrade.

5-HOUR TRAINING PACKAGES

A popular choice for drivers who want more time to practise, understand the vehicle and build confidence before their practical assessment.

Not everyone learns at the same pace, and that's perfectly fine.

At Dynamic Truck School, we believe the right training package is the one that gives you the skills and confidence to drive safely, not simply the shortest available option.
