Your First Step to HR – The Written Quiz
Before you can sit your Heavy Rigid (HR) driving test, you’ll need to complete the heavy vehicle written quiz in person at the Transport Department for $28.70 It’s a short multiple-choice test based on road rules and heavy vehicle knowledge, and it must be passed before your practical test can be booked. If you’re already stepping up from a Medium Rigid (MR) licence, you won’t need to complete this quiz again — you’re good to go straight into your training and test.
